Summary: The trouble with loving layers is that you don't want to remove them at all. Which is simply insane, in Ron's humble opinion...
The Trouble With Loving Layers.
“I know you love him but I'm worried about you, mate. Suffering Permanent Blue-balls Syndrome must be horrible.”
Harry choked:
“Blue-balls? Me? You're nuts.”
“Look at him, Harry... He's wrapped up like a mummy in this heatwave. What does it take to get that man undressed? Crucio? Imperio? Virgin sacrifices to Morgana?”
Harry frowned, looking across Molly's lawn towards Severus.
“I don't need dark magic to get laid.”
“Really? You've been together for three years and I've never seen him lose a single layer...”
“Those layers are part of him, Ron. It's impossible to love Severus without loving them too.”

And Harry is so sweet! He understands that Severus is a complex person, and has had time to pull back each layer to see the true person beneath it all.
This was a delight, as always!

It's true that Severus wouldn't let just anyone see what's hidden beneath his outer layer, least of all an unconvinced Ron. Harry has not only earned that particular privilege but also values it for the trust that it implies on Severus' part.
I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this little drabble of mine. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to both read and review. You know how much I love hearing from you. ;)

Actually, Ron should worry about his own love life and leave Harry's to Severus. ;)
Very sweet!

Since you've given me permission to translate any of your works, I translated this one as well. I'll post it as soon as your work appears on AO3. Cheers!

It was wonderful to hear from you again so soon after our last exchange. I'm thrilled that you found this little drabble so hilarious.
Thanks for letting me know about your translation. I've already added your name to my list, as usual. :D
I normally don't post a single drabble on AO3, since I tend to collect at least three and post them over there all at once. That means that I wouldn't have posted this one there for another three weeks or so under normal circumstances, since I updated that account just last week.
But, now that I know that you are only waiting for this particular piece to appear in order to post yours, I'll try to put it up on AO3 later today just for you, my friend.
Thanks, as always, for taking the time to all: read, review and translate another piece of mine. Your constant support of my work is a truly priceless gift that I value greatly. :)

Severus is Severus: with layers, sarcasm, sharp tongue, a bit of insecurity and a wicked sense of humour. Maybe Ron doesn't understand this, but he has no need to do this.
Harry understands and loves Severus. And it's enough.

It's true that Ron has a one track mind and is probably thinking that Harry is just like himself...
Thankfully, though, Harry is his own man and actually understands his partner far better than anybody else will ever manage. You are right about it, of course, that's all they both really need to be perfectly happy together.
I'm glad you enjoyed this little drabble of mine. Thanks, as usual, for your generous and lovely comment. Hearing from you is always lovely. :)

:-)
But this one is amazing. In only a few words you can express everything what Severus Snape is. A what means for Harry too. I like it, my sunny pekeleke, thanks a lot:-)
Re: :-)
You don't need to feel sorry about not commenting before, you know? Some people like to review and others prefer not to do it. It's all a matter of personality, although I can only ever get to know the readers who take the time of writing to me, so... it was lovely to see a comment from you, my friend.
I'm glad you enjoyed this drabble so much. Thanks for taking the time to both read and review.:)
