The Trouble With Loving Layers.

“I know you love him but I'm worried about you, mate. Suffering Permanent Blue-balls Syndrome must be horrible.”

Harry choked:
“Blue-balls?  Me?  You're nuts.”

“Look at him, Harry...  He's wrapped up like a mummy in this heatwave. What does it take to get that man undressed?  Crucio?  Imperio?  Virgin sacrifices to Morgana?”

Harry frowned, looking across Molly's lawn towards Severus.
“I don't need dark magic to get laid.”

“Really?  You've been together for three years and I've never seen him lose a single layer...”

“Those layers are part of him, Ron. It's impossible to love Severus without loving them too.”

lol! Oh Ron! Of course Severus isn't going to let you see below his layers! That is a privilege that is earned.
And Harry is so sweet! He understands that Severus is a complex person, and has had time to pull back each layer to see the true person beneath it all.

True. Ron should have known better than to poke his nose in Harry's love-life, but then that's what friends are for sometimes. They make uncomfortable remarks and force us into huffy indignation out of sheer worry, no matter how misguided it might be. Here's to hoping that Harry will be able to see that and forgive Ron's faux pass eventually... ;)

Severus is Severus: with layers, sarcasm, sharp tongue, a bit of insecurity and a wicked sense of humour. Maybe Ron doesn't understand this, but he has no need to do this.
Harry understands and loves Severus. And it's enough.

Oh, I am so sorry that I haven´t comment nothing so far, but I have to say that I love your style. I read about (I don´t know exactly) 4 or 5 pieces and I like it all and I´d like to translate it, so I can´t hurry up because the templation is so strong and I couldn´t do anything else that translate then...
But this one is amazing. In only a few words you can express everything what Severus Snape is. A what means for Harry too. I like it, my sunny pekeleke, thanks a lot:-)
