Summary: When Harry Potter offers him kisses and coffee Severus Snape finds himself unable to walk away.

Kisses And Coffee.

Severus wakes to soft kisses and green eyes. To the aroma of freshly-brewed coffee and the brightness of Harry Potter's smile.

His dark gaze shies away from those lips and those eyes. Refusing the thoughtfully offered beverage. Ignoring the fading smile.

“You aren't playing by the rules.” He whispers into the silence, making Potter frown.

“What rules?”

“The ones that warn you against ending one-night-stands with a kiss and a coffee.”

“I don't do one-night-stands.”

Severus snorts.

“It's true. My kisses and coffees are all yours, Severus. Only yours.”

Severus stills.
“They...  You are... mine?”

Potter blushes.
“Yes. I am.

kisses and coffee, what a way to wake your beloved, ESPECIALLY when he doesn't yet know he's the one you want! :D

the ex got kisses and coffee every morning when we were married, even when we weren't getting along very well any longer. he mentioned it when he was here one time, that while he made good coffee, it wasn't the SAME as having it brought to him in bed. i just said "well, i suppose that's true!"

Now, about your comment... I can see why your ex missed that particular morning routine. I honestly believe that there are very few things as intimate as sharing kisses and coffee while laying about in bed on a lazy Saturday morning... Some of my own most cherished memories go precisely along those lines, too. That's why I wanted to put the boys in this particular situation and I'm thrilled that you enjoyed the result.
