Waiting For Tomorrow.
My heart breaks as my fragile hopes unravel like worn thread.
I should be ecstatic, yet I'm simply devastated. Knowing that I've found Severus only to lose him again.
He's barely three feet away, but he's thoroughly lost to me.
He's forgotten about magic. About Hogwarts. About... me.
I turn around, loving him enough to gift him the guilt-free life he deserves.
He looks up. Our eyes connect.
I smile at him lovingly and he blushes, enthralled.
That's when I decide to stay, woo him all over again...
Even though yesterday is gone, tomorrow is still mine to win or lose.

Though I am intrigued by what caused Severus' memory loss, I realised that is not what this story is really about. It's about loving someone enough to let them go and be happy.
I won't lie however that the hopeful ending made me jump for joy!
I can't imagine Severus and Harry not together.....no matter what the circumstances!
Could there be a possible *cough* continuation *cough*? *g*
Wonderful!!

It was wonderful to hear from you again. I don't think I'd enjoy writing a story where the boys don't end up together, either. I like them together, that's why I write snarry after all. :)
I must confess that I've got no idea of how Severus lost his memories, myself. I never plan a back-story when I write drabbles and it's true that his memory-loss wasn't the actual point of this piece. It was about being generous enough to let go, just like you said.
As I told you before I kind of realized when I wrote Seeking Home that I dislike writing prompt-based series, so I don't think there will be a 100's continuation of this one. I might turn it into a longer one-shot for you, though. When I find the time. ;)
I'm glad you found it wonderful as is, though. Thanks, as always, for taking the time to read and review. You know how much I enjoy hearing from you. ;D

I was very excited to hear that you've decided to translate this drabble, too. Thanks so much for letting me know. Even though I don't understand a single word in Hungarian, following the link and seeing your work there put a giant smile on my face! ;D

I, too, am intrigued by what happened to Severus, although, as the previous reader siad, that's not the point. The point is Harry's determination.
Just beautiful! ♥

I've got to confess that I have no idea of what happened to Severus, either, since I never plan a back-story for my 100's and his memory loss wasn't the actual point I wanted to explore here. You're right, of course, It was about Harry's decision to hope for a better tomorrow for the both of them.
I'm thrilled that you found this beautiful. Thanks, as always, for your generous review. :)
