A Resigned Confession.

Severus’s hard-earned serenity evaporates upon hearing Potter’s earnest demand. He can’t possibly confess. Potter will laugh in his face.

“I’m just tired.”

“Yes. But why? You’re strong. You treated two wars like regular Tuesdays.”

“This is different.”

“How?”

Severus sighs resignedly. There’s nothing for it, “I’m madly in love, Potter.”
