Lately, Severus can’t look at Potter without blushing unbecomingly. He turns into a stuttering mass of sweaty palms, ragged breath, and pounding heartbeat in Potter’s presence, yet his colleague doesn’t notice.

Severus thanks Merlin for Potter’s abysmal observation skills. Still, his humiliation is now complete. He’s beyond unwanted. He’s invisible.
