A/N 2: Anyone familiar with my work already knows I'm an avid drabbler, so I was naturally drawn to a challenge that encourages authors to write one 50-word drabble a day during the month of May.  I'd already decided to participate when I started wondering how hard could it be to write an entire fic by linking 50-word drabbles together. It turns out it's hard indeed. But I'm incredibly proud of the result. I hope you all enjoy the fruit of my labor as much as I relished the challenge of creating this series. :)
Summary: Severus Snape adores minding his own business, but Potter— Potter is the exception to most of Severus’s rules.

Doomed Desire.

Severus Snape adores minding his own business. He’s seldom interested in anybody else’s, wartime spying notwithstanding.

Severus tries everything to forget accidentally catching Potter tenderly kissing a stranger behind Rosmerta’s.

But the memory is stuck.

Potter’s gentleness ignited something unspeakable inside him: a fascinated curiosity. A ravenous hunger. Doomed desire.
