Summary: Harry is a neck man and, although Severus has the sort of neck that’d make a giraffe weep, Harry isn’t allowed to touch it. Or kiss it. Or ogle it lustfully.  

The Price Of Loving Severus.

Harry is a neck man and, although Severus has the sort of neck that’d make a giraffe weep, Harry isn’t allowed to touch it. Or kiss it. Or ogle it lustfully.

Severus is self-conscious about Nagini’s bite-mark. He openly disparages his marked arm, long nose, skinny legs, and greasy hair. Severus hates his looks so much that he won’t grace Harry’s bed unless Harry promises to avoid his ‘ugly zones.’

Harry's heart cracks a little more every time he promises, but this is the price of loving, of—having, Severus, so he pays it. Harry will always, always, pay it.
