Harry’s Greed.

 

When the stranger takes his aggressive flirting a step too far and licks Severus' ear, he barely manages to pull himself out of licking range before Harry storms over, the business end of his wand pointed at the amorous fool.

“You’ve no right to touch what is mine.”

“I-I’m s-sorry, Mr. P-Potter. I-I didn’t know the Professor was spoken for. I thought he w-was alone, and I-er… He’s hot, isn’t he?”

“Yes, he is.” Harry growls, curling a possessive arm around Severus’ waist. “But he’s taken. By me. He is-

“Yours. Yes. I-I got the message, Sir. Loud and clear.”

Even though it shames to confess it, I think I'd play the role of the wimp too, if I ever found myself on the wrong side of Harry's wand. And yes, I bet Severus' smirk right now is about as big and smug as a smirk could possibly be. :D :D :D

LOL. I think Severus was simply slower to react than Harry was and, once his lover had shown his possessive side in such a magnificent way, Sev was probably too entertained to intervene. ;)

I bet Severus just stood back, smirking, to look at the Wrath (TM) of Harry Potter - Saviour of the Wizarding World, Man who lived, Chosen One, etc, etc :D

(I am suprised, though, that Severus would allow the advances of any Tom, Dick or Harry. Not including his Harry, of course.)

I think Severus is so unused to being thought of as an attractive man, that he simply failed to realize the intentions of this particular Tom or Dick before disaster struck, and once it did, he simply wasn't fast enough to react before Harry took offense.

He definitely stood back and enjoyed Harry's jealous outburst, though. He could have stepped in, or even flounced off dramatically in an offended huff at being treated by his lover like a damsel in distress, but he did neither. I'd bet he was too busy smirking smugly at being so publicly claimed.

LOL. I'm pretty sure Severus knows he's Harry's, just like Harry must realise he is Severus'. I think Sev is having great fun watching his man's chest monster in action right now because you're right, you can't beat a bit of possessiveness. :D
