“He's finally falling for me.” Harry whispered, even though Snape was steadfastly ignoring them.

“He doesn't look... smitten... to me.”

“He's Slytherin. They love looking unapproachable and mysterious.”

Ron's eyebrow twitched.
“Harry...”

“Why else would he listen to everything I say?”

“Because you're Harry Potter. Everyone listens to you.”

“I've always been Harry Potter. He's never listened to me before.”

“But...”

“I should grope him or something.”

“That's dumb. He'll kill you.”

“He could always grope me back.”

“That's... unlikely. Snape's a trigger-happy nutter. He'll...”

“Unlikely isn't impossible.”

“Play it safe. Use caution.”

“Cautious lions never won fair Prince, Ron.”

I'm thrilled that you enjoyed that last line and I must confess that I have absolutely no idea of what happens next. Sheankelor is of the opinion that Severus will punch Harry while keyairreem thinks he'll launch a sneak counter-groping attack on Harry while nobody is looking. I don't know... I prefer to imagine that he dissaparates just before Harry manages to grope him, starting some kind of flirty game of cat and mouse until he's either ready to let his lion catch him or do some catching of his own. You are very welcome to pick whichever of those scenarios appeals the most to you, or get back to me with any other idea that you have about what happens next.

I like the idea that Severus decides to take the situation with some humor and gets Harry back for that unsolicited groping in a way that will allow them both to salvage whatever future they may have together. :D
