LOL. I don't think it's such a bad thing to enjoy Severus' ability to be embarrassed by his colleague's good-natured teasing, particularly when we already know that it's meant with the best intention in the world and his vulnerability to that ribbing allows us to see him in a new and more approachable light. He needs to loosen up a lot and just... let himself to enjoy his life to the full. Hopefully Harry and co will teach him that very important lesson and he'll be able to walk out of this... debacle... all the happier for it. :D
