I love how easily you describe the humour of the first part (yes, I know that I'm a bad person - finding fun in another's embarrassment - but I do enjoy seeing Severus like that!).
And then you switch effortlessly into a very serious discussion (and it's hot, and tender, and heartbreaking all at once). Wow.
