Beautiful choice for a first date. I have never been there (in Muggle Bruges of course), but a friend of mine was there and told how lovely it was.
I wonder if this won't be too romantic for Severus, though. A carriage-ride and holding hands? It's so funny to see both of them prior to ther date: Harry fussing over his hair, and Severus hiding his anxiousness - and himself - behind a book.

Harry might seem a bit over-zealous (in a comment to a previous chapter someone wrote that Harry is like obsessed); but sometimes a bubbly, insightful, and persistent person like Harry is exactly what a reclusive (shunned?) and wary person like Severus needs. Someone who will not think 'He is so stand-offish and abrasive all the time, maybe there is nothing worthwile to find in him. So why should I waste my time?' No, in my opinion, Sev /desperately/ needs someone like Harry to balance him, to coax him out of his shell... (And here I fondly remember another story of yours, peke, called 'The mating rituals of the crabby hermit' :)
In the end though, it all boils down to this: "Let's just be Severus and Harry, together at long last..." That's what counts.

(I'm rambling too much, sorry.) Thanks for sharing! ^^
