Oh... I'm so sorry that reading this particular story made you feel sad enough to almost cry, soleo. I know the plot is rather angsty, but the prompt I had been challenged with couldn't have been properly answered with a story that brimmed with my usual cracky approach to humor. Not when the person who issued it wanted to read a properly serious story revolving around the theme of "Acceptance".
