wooh. that was some heavy self-loathing Severus was suffering from. feeling he was not worthy of anyone's love, not even his own! I weep for that poor tortured soul. Harry's caring and patience are godly!
So many mistakes in his past - but everyone deserves to be loved! and to hide away for 20 years never allowing himself to be so close to another person. I know this has a happy ending, but I very nearly cried.
