I'm very happy to hear that you liked this confident version of Severus. I know that I usually portray him in a very different light, but every now and then I enjoy seeing him as a confident and patient man who doesn't consider himself beneath anyone else when it comes to his ability to snare Harry's attention.
I agree with your comment about Severus deserving love, Harry's love in particular, and now that our gryffindor has finally decided to stop fooling around, he might actually get it.
