I'm glad you are happy with this particular piece, as I wasn't sure that I managed to explain Harry's point of view very well. He does get it: he's accepted Severus exactly the way he is and values his rare displays of affection all the more precisely because they are rare.

Yes, Narcissa deserves some happiness, too. And Draco. I'm trying my best to at least hint at the possibility of a happier life for them both. :)
