Gut Reaction.

Severus’s inquietude grows in the silence that follows. He’s faced enough nasty pranksters to realize that Potter isn’t about to start guffawing at his shock. On the contrary, Potter is— waiting for an answer.

“Er-

“There’s a show in London tomorrow,” Potter babbles, “We could-

“Potter-

“Say yes. Please.”

“No!”
