I'm pretty sure that this story is littered with hundreds of little things like that, since it was never betaed and I'm sincerely grateful every time that someone drops me a line letting me know about them.
I've heard this about my writing style before. It makes my pieces very difficult to translate, that is why my hat is off to you for your courage in going ahead with your translation, regardless of the difficulties associated to both my cumbersome style and the sheer length of this work.
