It must have been quite difficult for both of them to go through the vault's contents. For Harry it's seeing first-hand how much another (a rival? in the broadest sense of the word) loved the person he does. And for Severus, it's been a perfect relationship that never new bad times, because there was no time for it... Also: Not only was Regulus his first love but for a long time it was his only love. And then to be confronted with this perfect past, that is irrevocably unattainable. Severus must know that the relationship with Harry will never be like that. But the question is what will Severus choose: a perfect love that's frozen in time, unfulfilled and idealistic - or a relationship with endless new moments and memories, with ups and downs, which might make the love grow stronger if they can get through those times together?
Harry’s sofa is indeed yellow. And as ugly as promised. Sadly, though, it completely fails to make Severus laugh. *sniffs* :/ (Although I have to admit that it did make me laugh, indeed.)
