Twice. Twice Harry said that it's 'not a chit'. Yes, I get it, I wouldn't want to be called a chit, either, when I'm a woman - but that wasn't what Harry meant at all. Why can't Severus ask what he means with that?
And it goes pretty well, at the beginning. They talk, they understand each other (well, aside from the 'chit'-thing) - until Harry touches Severus, both with his words as well as with his hand...
But, of course, Severus just up and leaves! Argh! I want to tear. My hair. Out! Why, Severus, why?! No, what I mean to say is: Why, pekeleke, why?!
And it was starting off so well... :/
