I was thrilled to hear that you're enjoying this tortuous fic of mine, since you seem to be able to connect with Severus so well. Most people who identify with the version of Severus I've portrayed in this story tend to absolutely despise either the fic itself, Harry's character in particular, or both. Most tend to abandon the story altogether once they reach this chapter, actually.

It is true that english ins't my mother tongue and, since this one was not only the first fanfic I ever wrote -and dared to post out there-, but also the first novel length story I ever penned in English, it has a special place in my heart and that means that it's always a wonderful surprise to receive a positive review about it.
