I started reading this fic yesterday and just finished this chapter (23). I'm a nervous wreck, my stomach is in knots, reading this fic is turning out to be the most exquisite torture. I love, and can frighteningly relate to, Severus. How he clings to his self deception for protection, his inability to decipher his own emotions or motivations. Beautiful characterization. I believe I read (on AO3) that English is not you first language and I have to tell you that I would never have known. Now, I must leave this comment at once, as I'm desperate to get on with chapter 24. Thanks for writing this fic, it has been an agonizing pleasure to read, thus far, and I can already assure you that this will be one of my favorite Snarry fics ever.
