I’m glad that you’re enjoying reading about the friendship between Minerva and Severus, but I agree with you, it’s time for some Harry/Severus action instead. That is coming your way, right up, and yes, Severus’s definition of trust is probably different from ours. Severus trusts Harry Potter, the auror, to protect him if the situation arises. He also trusts the magical power and honorable nature of Harry Potter, the savior, but that doesn’t mean he trusts Harry Potter, the man. I think Harry’s most important challenge will be to get Severus to trust him as a person. Sadly, they’re a long way from that at this point, but I’m sure Harry’ll get there eventually. :)
An agony aunt can definitely be someone in a newspaper or magazine who gives personal advice, but it also can be anyone in your life, as long as they’re the person you discuss your problems with, the person you go to for advice when you don’t know what to do. So yes, you were right in your definition of the phrase, you just had to expand it a bit to include regular people in there too. :)
Yes, Nathaniel’s future should be as bright as his artwork. He’s got two of the finest professors who ever taught at Hogwarts looking after him, and he’s not even eleven. I must say I’ve no idea what sort of art was depicted on Severus’s get well card, I’ll leave that to your imagination, my dear friend. :)
I’m thrilled that you enjoyed the explanation for Harry’s delay in coming to Severus’s aid. And yes, Minerva had her Slytherin hat on when she managed to make Severus promise to be nice to Harry when he shows up next. Now the ball is in Harry’s court. Let’s hope he uses it to score. :)
Thanks, as usual, for taking the time to both read and review another chapter of this fic, teryarel. Your kind and lovely comment meant the world to me. :)
