Harry’s Severus is Severus’ favorite Severus. What is it with me and mis-reading things that you write. Because I read: "Harry's Severus is Harry's favourite Severus." (And mine, too.)
At first it does not seem like much of a difference, but of course it is. Harry loves Severus, and must have fallen in love or at least got to know Severus better, when Severus still was the old Severus. And I believe that if Severus were to have a bad day and revert to old Severus, Harry would still love him.
But when I read that "Harry’s Severus is Severus’ favorite Severus" this means that Severus himself has left old Severus behind. He changed (for?) with Harry. He finally has found not only peace in himself, but self-acceptance (self-love?) and happiness.
And this, surely, must be exactly the Severus that Harry like best, too.
Thank you for another sweet story, dear friend! ^^
