"Lucky lucky Sheankelor." True. She's a very dear friend, but she isn't the only one I'd be more than happy to write a b'day fic for, if I happened to know the date in question. There are a few readers of mine I'd love to indulge, but it's hard sometimes to gauge whether approaching them with that sort of offer would be welcome. It doesn't help that I prefer to react to the overtures of other, more proactive people, than to risk extending my own, so I'm certain I've lost plenty of chances to develop closer friendships with a few fandom people I'd sincerely love to grow closer to.
