That's such a lovely thing to say... I'm chuffed that you enjoy the way I usually portray Severus, sarahsezlove. I know that my particular version of him isn't everybody's cup of tea, but this snarky, defensive and utterly fragile creature whose first instinct is to try to scare away whoever dares to come near it, is my head cannon for Severus Snape and I struggle something fierce to write him in any other way, so it's always wonderful to hear that there are people out there who like him like this too. :)
