Yes, I decided to leave the development of the boys' physical relationship up to the readers' imagination since it's pretty clear that that's where they're headed, and it would have probably taken me another 10k words to get them there myself without rushing Severus too much.
I must say I don't recognise the classic fic you're referring to from those particular details, but I hope you find it. I've had a few requests to write a sequel to this one or even a re-write from Severus' point of view, but I've no plans to do either at the moment. I could change my mind at some point in the future, but I doubt it, since I have a tendency to prefer new stories over sequels, and therefore have never so far written a sequel to any of my longer works. Maybe someone will offer to write a remix of this someday. :D
