I was moping non-stop about Alan until I came across a plea majmunka left in her livejournal's RIP post, urging her author friends to write happy, fluffy fics in which Severus lives. "Save him again," that's what she asked for, and that's what I want to do. I've been trying to come up with something like that for the last hour. I haven't managed it yet, but I will. I think Alan would have liked that sort of tribute.
