Oops! Despite your reassurance about it I'm sorry that this drabble made you cry, teryarel, because driving readers to tears wasn't what I had in mind when I set out to write this. I agree with you on the point that Severus' erroneous assumption that their relationship wasn't Harry's goal from the beginning is very IC for the version of Severus Snape I'm most comfortable writing. :D
