I know that the story has to go its way but: why, whyyyyyy, why-oh-why?? could he not stay a kitten for some time longer?
It's so heartbreaking to see Severus so distressed, especially when he finally has acknowledged that he knows he is cared for and safe with Harry; that he wants to have this family, 'his boys'. Just a little longer?
