"I will not leave you, Severus." I fear that Harry will have to repeat this many times until it sinks into Severus's (I almost said thick skull) broken heart. After all, they all *have* left him in the end: Lily, his mother probably, Albus, Minerva, Filius, and whom ever else he might have called "friend" - before they abondoned him. That's the experience of a lifetime.
But Harry is nothing if not insistent :) I'm sure he'll get the message through in the end. And then it will be happily-ever-after for both of them. (And I would love to be able to see the expression in Sev's eyes, when he realizes that Harry is true, when he sheds his fear and *knows* that this is true love he is being offered -and when he accepts this truth of love with all his heart.)
