Harry stormed into the backroom:
“Whoever claimed customers are always right never met Severus-Bloody-Snape!”

“He's disparaging the tea?”

“He's disparaging everything.  Why can't I ever please him, 'Mione?

“He's always been difficult.  You shouldn't take his attitude so personally.”

“I can't help it!  I'm in love with the bastard.”

“You should tell him.”

“This is a coffee-shop.  He's probably noticed we only make tea for him.  It's not rocket science and the bloke's a bloody genius.”

“Romance isn't potions, Harry.”

“You think he's clueless?”

“He could be.”

“Oh!”

“Harry, wait...”

“Can't.  Too busy plotting how to enlighten my genius, 'Mione!”

Nothing shows devotion like refusing to take sides in that all important war between coffee and tea drinkers for the sake of your crush, shame that Sev didn't notice Harry's sacrifice on his own. I'd bet he's going to feel totally mortified when he finds out that he's been stepping right into the other team's 'battlefield' all along... ;D

I adore coffee shop AU! How Severus can be so clueless? For Merlin's sake, he is rather intelligent, right? Harry and Severus are lucky that Hermione is the smart one. As always.
