Defining Miracles.

 

“You must excel at conflict resolution, Mr. Potter.” The reporter cooed, and Harry’s grin vanished.

“You think so?” He asked frostily.

“You’ve been married to Headmaster Snape for ten years. You’re still alive, sane, and in possession of your limbs. I’d call that a miracle, wouldn’t you?”

“No.”

“What would you call it then?”

“Life. My life. My love life.”

“I meant no disrespect.”

“Yes, you did.”

“But—

“My husband is not a 'conflict.'”

“I—

“My marriage doesn’t need to be ‘resolved.’“

“I’m sorr—

“I've found the love of my life. He, somehow, loves me back. That is the miracle.”

LOL. I think all of us were pissed off at that reporters' attitude. Harry was quick to set him straight, though, so Severus should be impressed. I can see wonderful things happening to Harry when he finally reaches home. ;)

Stupid reporter. *kicks them*" LOL. I think most of us felt exactly that way and, although Harry didn't exactly kick the reporter, I'm pretty sure only Severus' own reaction, had he been there, would have scared him -or her- more. :)

Go, Harry! (It's a good thing that a) Harry has grown up into a level-headed man and b) Severus isn't there) One would think that people would stop saying stupid things after ten years...

“I've found the love of my life. He, somehow, loves me back. That is the miracle.” I wish that their miracle doesn't ever end for them. Or that, if there comes a time when things get hard and their way bumpy, they find strenght in each other. (Sorry for the soppy-ness)

Oh, I also wish for their miracle to be as long lasting as possible, teryarel, and not just to spite either this particular reporter or whoever else is out there, doubting that these two are perfect for each other. I wish them the most loving marriage in existence because they deserve it. And they should have it. Harry's overprotective display here certainly shows that they are willing to put the effort of being there for one another, doesn't it? :)
